Our Sunday School has grown this past Fall and we now have an enthusiastic group who leave the service after Time for All Ages to go to their programming. The downstairs Sunday School Classroom was painted and decorated by Wendy and Jim Beckett. A whole slate of Teachers are taking their turn teaching the children. We use the Seasons of the Spirit Multiage Curriculum.
Each Sunday, an enthusiastic group of Children begin their Sunday in the Sanctuary. They gather at the front of the church for Time for All Ages as young and old explore the scripture theme together.
Later in the Sunday School Room, they engage in a variety of joyful and interesting activities. Our team of Sunday School Teachers use the lectionary based Seasons of the Spirit Curriculum Multiage Pack.
Over the past two years we have been rebuilding our Sunday School. Last year, our upstairs nursery was reclaimed for the children and Kelsey Best offered activities each Sunday connected to our worship
scriptures. In the Summer/Fall a large Sunday School room downstairs was painted a bright green and colorfully decorated by Wendy and Jim Beckett. A curriculum was purchased and a number of people came forth to lead the program.
