Welcome to our new Chipman and Area Campers! Welcome Back to our returning Campers! We have a great week of camping planned at this year’s Day Camp. Running from Monday August 24 to Friday August 28 the camp begins at 9:00 sharp on Monday through Thursday with pick up by parents or a pre- designated person at 4:30 from Monday to Wednesday. Thursday evening is Camper’s Night Over beginning with a Turkey supper, group wide games, vespers, campfire and night lunch before a sleepover in our cabin groups. A hot breakfast will be served on Friday morning and pickup is at 10:30 am.

Throughout the camp in God Stuff Time the campers will hear of God’s call to care for creation. They will consider the Bible’s teaching on being a good caretaker of all that God has made. Old and New Testament scriptures from Genesis and the Gospels will share the Good News of the relationship between God and each of us, the goodness of God’s creation, and encourage us to trust that God will provide.. The Campers will have opportunity to identify the gifts God has given them and discover ways they can be faithful stewards in caring for creation.

There will be swimming, crafts at Creation Station, an Enviro- Science activity group as and other choices for interest group time. The whole camp will join in our camp wide games before our closing circle each day.

Different from past years, lunch will be provided. And of course, there will be lots of time for singing and fun activities throughout the day.
